Description[]
The Velvet worm is a red or blue caterpillar-like creature that spawns in Elysian Fields and Underground Jungles . In order to move, they literally undulate towards the player. Alongside their rather powerful melee capability, they have a ranged slime attack that deals no damage but inflicts the player with Slowness IV for 6 seconds, allowing the Velvet Worm to get within melee distance.

- In spite of their name, they are not worms, yet nor are they true arthropods. They are in a group all of their own, the Onychophora .
