Mosquitoes are hostile mobs that spawn in Underground Jungles and Submerged Swamps.
Unlike ordinary mosquitoes, these ones cause significant pain. Erebus Mosquitoes can deal one heart of damage per hit, or they can latch onto the player's head and inflict two hearts of damage per second.
A latched Mosquito can only be removed by jumping into a pool of water or by killing the Mosquito otherwise.
Mosquitoes, being the horrible creatures they are, attack Beetle Larvae when idle.
